This short film is just okay. It doesn’t really do anything badly, it just doesn’t reach the spectacular heights, or contain the emotional resonance that it so badly aspires. The animation is just fine, and the story is just fine (although it’s certainly nothing new). But it adds nothing new; it’s just a standard, kind of forgettable short. And I don’t know why anyone would watch this, when they could watch One Small Step instead. Also, I wasn’t a fan of the lower FPS; it was more distracting than anything else, and seemed like a desperate attempt to help make this film stand out visually. Still, I don’t want to be too harsh on it. It’s not bad. It’s an okay, watchable little film.
