“The Peanuts Movie” (2015)

This movie captures the spirit of Charles Schulz’s original comic strip in just about every way. This truly is a delightful, funny and sweet film, that will be equally entertaining and charming to both young kids and adults. The film’s animation is simply stunning, as it’s a computer animated film that has the feel of traditional hand drawn animation, the movement is fast and fluid, and the characters come alive in ways they really haven’t before. The only real nitpick I have is that there are a few fan service moments that I personally found distracting. But other that, in terms of complaints, I got nothing. Despite, or perhaps because of, it’s rather simplistic nature, it’s a film that I happily keep coming back to.
