The beauty of this film lies in its simplicity. The story and characters are simple, but given its core premise, it serves the film rather well. The relationship that grows between Keda and Alpha feels natural and organic, as the film takes as long as it needs to build the bridge between them, something that was deeply crucial here. And they knocked the ball out of the park. This results in several scenes of truly excellent cinema, including scenes of pulse pounding action, pure raw emotion, and a really warm heart at its center. Really the main complaint I had is that the CGI often looks too fake. Other than that, this is an emotionally resonant, incredible experience that I wish more people had seen.
