It’s a home invasion film, except the film is shown to us from the perspective of hundreds of hidden cameras strewn about the house hidden by the killers. It’s a gimmick that’s not only distracting and doesn’t work, but the longer the film goes on, the more absurd and laughable the premise becomes. In terms of horror, the film is bare bones. There’s simply no style, or anything original here whatsoever. Because the killers are made out to be these almost omniscient indestructible beings that are never taken off guard, and we don’t care about these boring characters, there’s no suspense. It all becomes so predictable. And the ending is just stupid, and a lame attempt to jumpstart another horror franchise. Just no.
