This is a surprisingly decent straight to video film, that acts as a good way to introduce your kids to some classic stories. The animation is simplistic, but solid. Most of the voice actors do a good job, and were well cast in the roles. The songs, while not the most memorable songs in the world, are nice catchy tunes. There are some issues, like the anachronistic references are distracting for what could’ve otherwise been a timeless story, and while there’s very little this film does wrong, it doesn’t do anything exceptional either. Keeping in mind I might be overrating this due to nostalgia, I do find this to be an enjoyable animated romp that can be enjoyed by both kids and their parents.
