A pretty enjoyable and entertaining fact-based film, that manages to perfectly balance both the comedy and the drama. Florence Pugh is given a chance to shine, and she knocks it out of the park with her great performance. The main issue I had was that this film’s story is a pretty conventional underdog story, and it follows a lot of the typical plot beats without a hint of subversion. However, what really makes this film stand out to me is the portrayal of the relationship of this family, which feels so incredibly real and genuine. This is not only a treat for WWE fans, but is an entertaining film on its own merits; a charming, funny, and heartfelt story.
